The Crest

This project involves a rear extension with a stepped facade, intended to mitigate the morning glare which has been an issue for the clients in the past.

Visually, this stepped facade breaks up the overall mass, of the building, creating an interesting form as well as varied patterns of light and shadow inside.

The large beam supporting the original rear wall of the house is left exposed to strongly delineate the threshold between old and new.
